Augmented Reality Project

Hey, everyone! This week’s project is about augmented reality. I can hear you saying what is augmented reality. Well, augmented reality is a technology that allows video, picture and 3D models and animations to be visualized in a 3D environment based on elements of the real world. (https://touch4it.com/ar) So, this week Sena and I tried to implement this technology into an English class and created a task based on augmented reality.

For our task, we were expected to choose a city abroad and explore it with using the augmented reality technologies. We decided to make a tour to London. Then, we created questions for students to answer about the videos that they viewed. In the end, we created a project for the students that covers the things students have explored so far.

We used UnitAR and Canva. Since the augmented reality is not commonly used there were some connection problems with the app, but it worked after some try. For the handout, we used Canva. Canva is an amazing tool to design anything you want. There are countless templates and the app itself is very user friendly.
